Handmade Stabilized Maple Burl Wooden Slim Style Cigar Ballpoint Pen

  • Details
This is a cigarillo pen. If you like the bold statement of a cigar pen but prefer a slimmer writing instrument, this is the pen for you. The pen is 5 1/2 inches in length but only about 1/2 inch in diameter. The ink refill is a "Cross" style which is available at most office supply stores. The mechanism is a twist type to extend and retract the writing tip.

The pen is turned from stabilized maple burl and finished with a wax and shellac finish. This piece of maple burl has outstanding character with amazing grain. I turn these pens to the desired shape and sand and finish them with a shellac and wax process that produces a brilliant and durable shine. The hardware is gold finished.

The pen has a comfortable and balanced feel in your hand.

The pictured pen is the pen you will receive. Item number 113017. The pen ships with an attractive gift box and a velvet sleeve for storage.

Thank you so very much for visiting my etsy shop. It would be a pleasure to place one of my pens in your hands.
