DetailsThis pen a bolt action pen. The writing tip is extended and retracted with a lever at the clip end. It is made of resin stabilized red tint curly maple which has a beautiful grain. The metal parts are gun metal gray plated. It is fitted with a “Parker” style refill containing black ink.
I turn these pens on my lathe to the desired shape and sand them in several steps to very fine. The finish is a friction type wax finish that creates a durable glossy finish.
Handmade pens make wonderful gifts for birthdays, Christmas, Mothers day, Fathers day and many other occasions. Each pen includes a nice gift box and a velvet sleeve for storage.
