Custom Made Assorted Wooden Exemplar Ballpoint Pens

This pen style is called exemplar. It is just under 5 inches in length and about 3/8 inches in diameter. A very nice size and well balanced. It uses a “Parker” style refill which are widely available. The writing tip is extended and retracted by a twist of the knurled clip end.

These pens are made of resin stabilized woods of various species. The color and grain in each is beautiful. If you have a question about the wood species, just message me with the item number. The hardware is antique brass and pewter.

I turn these pens on my lathe from the desired blank. Once the desired shape is achieved, it is sanded to an extremely smooth finish. At this point, a friction wax is applied in two stages. This produces a very nice and durable finish.

Each pen is thoroughly re-inspected before delivery to insure they deliver many years of enjoyment to you. Replacement ink refills can be purchased at most office supply stores.
