Handmade Flame Red and Black Acrylic Tactical Ballpoint Pen

This is called a tactical pen because the clip end contains a point that is able to break glass in case of entrapment in an auto incident. The clip is knurled for a good grip on the pen in case it is needed. Pen length is 6 inches and about 1/2 inch in diameter. It is heavy by pen standards but well balanced in the writing position. The writing tip is extended and retracted by a twist action. The refill is a “Parker” type.

The acrylic is flame red with a black thread. The plating on the fittings is chrome.

I turn these pens on my lathe from an acrylic blank. Once the desired shape is achieved, I sand and polish the acrylic through 12000 grit abrasive which delivers a brilliant and long lasting shine.

Each pen is thoroughly re-inspected before delivery to insure they deliver many years of enjoyment to you. Replacement ink refills can be purchased at most office supply stores.
